The permanent magnetic base features an on-off switch that activates a magnetic pull of 90 pounds. Once you activate the magnetic pull, this stand is NOT going to move!

The base on these units measure 2″ x 2-1/2″ x 2-1/4″ and the vertical column measures 3/8″ diameter x 7″ H. The adjustable arm on these units measures 7″ Long.
